Dr. Venture is often a washed up, capsule-popping super-scientist who treats his little ones and those close to him with overt disdain and contempt; Brock is their hyper-aggresive bodyguard that has a (regularly applied) license to kill and also a love for Led Zeppelin; plus the boys are two pie-eyed teenagers trapped within an out-of-date mindset.
